ScienceEquine Lift System
Researchers at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) have partnered with RMD Engineering to design and build a one-of-a-kind robotic lift system for horses. The lift will help rehabilitate horses suffering from acute injuries and other musculoskeletal problems by providing mobility, weight distribution and support.

MiningElliptical Polarizing Undulator
Saskatoon engineering firm RMD Engineering built the world’s largest Elliptical Polarizing Undulator (EPU) for the Canadian Light Source (CLS) particle accelerator. The EPU uses powerful rare earth magnets to cause the particle accelerator’s electron beam to generate X-rays of controllable polarization.
